The digitization of the former Siemens high-rise building with a total of 21 floors was an impressive achievement that Vokal+Partner completed in just 5 days with the help of mobile and stationary scanners. The captured data was then processed by MAP INDOOR using REVIT software to create a highly detailed 3D building model.
But that’s not all: in addition to the building itself, the entire area around the building was also captured and integrated into the model. For this purpose, a digital terrain model was created to realistically depict the surroundings.
After the comprehensive model was handed over, the client, represented by igb-Ingenieurgesellschaft Burgert mbH, made additional requirements: Approximately 30,000 recesses had to be remodeled. This shows that the precision and accuracy of the modeling is crucial to accurately capture all aspects of the building and site. MAP INDOOR’s ability to respond flexibly and promptly to such requests underlines their expertise in the field of 3D building modeling.
