Support of the Institute for Emergency Medicine and Medical Management of the LMU Klinikum München in the context of the ARTEKMED Living-Lab project in the mapping of virtual rooms and objects. These form the interface between medicine, team management and high-tech.
The detailed mapping of clinical environments and equipment, e.g. Operating room, ambulance, ventilator, arriscope, etc., telepresence and teleconsultation systems can be tested in live operation.
Using the laser scanning technology of Vokal + Partner, the rooms including the medical equipment in theHuman Simulation Centredes LMU Klinikum München could be captured within a few hours. Afterwards, the modelers from MAP INDOOR shortly transformed the datasets into vivid objects using 3DSMAX and Blender software.
